In our last update, we hinted at an exciting announcement coming up soon, and well, today's the day!

Today we're happy to announce that Snippets has been selected by and just launched on The Grommet!

Snippets -- The Award-Winning, Anything Goes Word Game!

Hello Snippets fans!

The game you helped bring to life less than a year ago has been busy! Since we last spoke, Snippets has been entertaining America's high IQ club, winning some cool awards, and putting itself out there in the wild world of retail. PLUS, we've got a BIG announcement coming up soon, so you may want to read to the end... Here's the scoop on what's been happening.

Snippets recently participated in the annual Mensa Mind Games competition in which hundreds of its high-IQ members played and judged nearly a hundred brainy games. Snippets earned the title "Recommended By Mensa Mind Games®", with Mensa members raving, "Fantastic fun for smart people!" and "This is the game for my family, my house, my life!"

 

Snippets also recently won a 2017 Parents' Choice Gold Award, the top honor given out and one that only 5 games received! In their review, Parents' Choice wrote, "Snippets has become a regular in our game cupboard in our home of word lovers and smiths."

 

Finally, we received a Top Fun award from reviewer of children's and educational products, TillyWig! TillyWig loved it, saying, "Snippets is one of the most delightful party and family games we've seen in quite some time."

 

Having so much fun you need to get another copy of the game? Well, Snippets can now be found in dozens of retailers around the country, including quirky product retailer UncommonGoods! Loved the game? Take a moment and write us a review on UG or Amazon!

From the looks of it, most of you have already received your games! The unboxing pictures are flooding in, and we're psyched to see your excitement!

Snippets in Retail

We're also super psyched to announce that Snippets is starting to make its debut in retail stores around the country!

If you're looking to get another copy of Snippets, perhaps as a gift for a friend, check in with your local game store, or if you can't find it there yet, you can always purchase one online in our brand new store.

In addition to Snippets, there will be nearly 100 great games for you to play from indie developers across the city, so it should be a blast!

 

Yes, International Tabletop Day is a thing! Come celebrate with us THIS SATURDAY, April 29th from 1:30pm onward at Manhattan's only board game cafe, The Uncommons. We'll be playing Snippets and maybe even have some swag to give away!

Hello Snippets fans!

We did it! The last of your games have gone out the door today, so you all should be receiving them soon! 

When your games arrive, we'd love to know what you think! So take it out, play a few rounds, then send us a note at [email protected] with any and all thoughts, comments, and questions.

Thank you all again for your incredible support -- none of this would have been possible without you. This Kickstarter really did kickstart The Master Theorem Games into existence, and Snippets will hopefully be just one of many games to come. Stay tuned!

Snippets will also be making an appearance at the 2017 Mensa Mind Games competition from April 21 - 23 in Dulles, Virginia. Over the course of the three-day competition, some very smart people will be testing the game out for a chance to win the coveted Mensa Select seal. Wish us luck!

The Snippets Unboxing!

Hello Snippets fans!

Exciting times! We just received the first, fully manufactured Snippets game... and it looks great!

As you may recall, every game box you've seen so far in the pictures and videos that we've posted (including the one above!) have just been one-off renderings or prototypes. They were simply cobbled together with cards printed at one random place, answer pads printed at another, the box at yet another, and everything taped or glued manually.

But the game box we just received is the first one made by the actual factory that will be making and shipping all of your games starting this week. Check out the unboxing video below. What you see is what you will get!
